GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE MEDALS IN MATHEMATICS
Three Mandoulides Schools students who participated in the third and final phase of the 27th National Mathematics Olympiad, Archimedes, organized by the Hellenic Mathematical Society, won national awards.
The students who stood out in the High School category were:
EVANGELOS TARATORIS (12th grade): Gold Medal – 1st National Award, who actually won the top gold medal out of a total of four presented by the Mathematical Society, having achieved best score amongst all participants. For his performance he was awarded the special Georgios Genimatas award. Furthermore, he won the bronze medal in last year’s 26th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, which was held in Serbia, while in the 50th Mathematical Olympiad, held in Bremen, Germany he was presented with an Honourable Mention.
ELEFTHERIOS MASTORIS (11th grade): Silver Medal – 2nd National Award
ELENI FRILIGKOU (11th grade): Bronze Medal – 3rd National Award
E. Mastoris and E. Friligkou won medals in a category where 12th grade students also took part.
It is worth mentioning that 62 Mandoulides Schools students qualified in the first phase of the competition, Thales, while 17 of them qualified for the second phase, Eukleides, both of which were amongst the highest school representations.

Another milestone of success in Greek basketball was achieved by The Mandoulides Boys Basketball team in this Spring's tournament held in Constantinoupolis, Turkey.

An exceptional night full of memories, nostalgia, emotion, enthusiasm, music and wishes for the continuation of the important work being done at Mandoulides Schools.Enthusiastic and enraptured with the orchestra and chorus of Mandoulides Schools were the words used by inimitable trobadour Dionysis Savvopouplos after the presentation given as part of the school's thirtieth anniversary celebration. It was an enjoyable evening echoing melodiously through the school's cultural center. The highly renowned singer commented on the exceptional talent of the school's young musicians and wished them every success with their performances....
IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE GREEK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS (PAN-HELLENICS)
Numbers are thriving at Mandoulides Schools and reveal the methodical, pioneering and effective work that is being performed.
103 graduates of Mandoulides Schools succeeded in entering the tertiary education.
25 students excelled by scoring over 19,000 units, 56 overachieved with more than 18,000 units, 22 neared 18,000 units and 25 reached 16,000 units.
8 students entered the Medical School, 11 the Law School while 24 succeeded in getting into Polytechnic Schools.
What is more, 10 graduates of our schools were accepted in American and British universities while simultaneously being accepted in high-level schools of Greek universities.
SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS FOR 1ST GRADE OF HIGH SCHOOL
Examinations for scholarships in 1st grade of high school will be held on Sunday, May 9th at 9.00 am at Mandoulides Schools High School premises (Thessaloniki-Moudania road).
