As Mandoulides School believes in the value of theatre in education, we have included a variety of activities in our school curriculum, which are related to the art of theatre. There are theatre groups and clubs for pupils from the kindergarten right through to the senior high school.
As the teaching staff realizes the power of theatre, they co-operate with the pupils in a climate full of enthusiasm, encouragement and trust and put on plays, which bear the seal of accomplishment of the goals of an education in theatre.
In 1995 the Mandoulides School theatre group was created and is made up of pupils from the junior and senior high schools. They have put on plays from the ancient and modern theatre, plays by foreign and Greek playwrights which have received awards at the SCHOOL ARTS COMPETITIONS at both local and national levels :
2nd prize (2001,2002), 3rd prize (2005) at national level and 1st prize in Northern Greece (1998,2000,2001,2002,2003,2005).
The goal of the theatre group is to cultivate a background in theatre in the pupils. Pupils learn to love art and culture through collective experience of meanings and values, co-operation, responsibility, dialogue, respect for differences, critical thought, the power of expression, fantasy, creativity and self expression and they gain the necessary criteria so that they may take an active part in cultural developments in general.

Cast of students, teachers, parents and alumni captivated the audience with their interpretation of a compilation of sketches about the history of America. Played before a packed house, the production was part of the school's on-going celebration of thirty years as educators.
