Educational Programs At Colleges Abroad

SUMMER COURSES IN THE USA

15 YEARS OF SUMMER PROGRAMS IN EUROPE AND THE USA

Mandoulides Schools offer their students the valuable experience of interacting with their peers from Europe and the US , thus spending their free summer  time in a creative and at the same time amusing way.

At colleges abroad Mandoulides students attend courses of the foreign languages they are taught throughout the academic year. The program consists of a two weeks accommodation in colleges or universities in the country of the students' choice, depending on which language they intend to practise. During their stay abroad the students are accompanied by their foreign language teachers. SUMMER 2009

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN GREAT BRITAIN

Τhis year's summer educational program took place in Great Britain from 19th July to 3rd August, 2009. Students of 11 to 16 years old participated in the program. 40 students from Primary and Junior/Senior High School attended an English language course and joined the  sports and social activities at Oatridge College in Edinburgh, Scotland, for a week.

During the following week they continued the program in the University of Bath, in the South West of England. The Mandoulides group visited London, as well, where they stayed for three days and visited not only the sightseeings and museums, but they also watched the play " The Phantom of the Opera" in West End. The trip abroad offered the students the opportunity to practise English, get in touch with the Scottish and English culture, and at the same time visit other towns both in Scotland and in England, such as: the Highlands and the lakes,  Edinburgh and its Castle and the  Royal Museum, the Roman Baths in Bath, the sea resort of Bournemouth.
